The Wireless Smoke Detector will automatically report the presence of smoke in a clients residence.  The
Smoke Detector sounds an audible alert to
advise the resident of a potential emergency while calling the Central
Monitoring Station to report the emergency where proper response actions can be
taken. |
| Motion Detector |
The Motion Detector when used in conjunction with series of the Medi-Alert Companion will notify the Central Monitoring Station anytime there is a lack of motion or activity for a certain period of time within a client's home or residents apartment. This allows protection for anyone whom when ill may forget to activate their ADC Console in an emergency or simply forgot to wear their transmitter. The Motion Detector at the detection of motion automatically resets the ADC Consoles built in programmable inactivity timer, which is programmable in six-hour increments up to 24 hours between required resets. NOTE: The Motion Detector IS NOT necessary to utilize the ADC Models inactivity timer. All ADC Models will sound an audible tone if the inactivity timer is not reset at its programmed time. Pressing the reset button on either systems will reset the timer-if not reset it will summon help. |
