In Home Medical Alarm Auto Fall Detection with 24 Hour Nurse Line.

Falls are the #1 cause of senior injuries today. Emergency buttons that signal help when pressed are incredibly valuable, but what happens if a person falls and is rendered unconscious? This is Where Automatic Fall Detection Matters.

Our medical pendant with fall detect can signal for help when an individual falls and is unable to press their emergency help button.

What happens when you press your pendant?

The Auto Fall Detection is activated once it detects the sudden fall. The console is the communication center of your system. When your pendant transmitter or optional fall-detector signals, the console contacts our monitoring center to report the emergency event. Once the necessary information is transmitted to theInstant Care Fall Alert Pendant monitoring center, in approximately 45-60 seconds the voice to voice talk feature is activated, and you can talk to the attendant at the monitoring center.

The trained attendant then follows a preset protocol to determine if there is a problem. If there is a problem, the attendant then determines the extent and seriousness of the problem. Once this is determined the attendant then calls “responders.” (relatives, neighbors or friends who have agreed to help). In some cases, your local emergency services are called.  Remember if you need HELP – simply yell HELP and we will notify your contacts on your call list.

If you fall and are unable to press the button on your fall alert pendant, the auto fall switch will send a signal to the console reporting a fall alert code to our monitoring center and summons help you need immediately. Now, how comforting is that?

Using your Auto Fall Detection Pendant

Note: Fall Alert Pendant Must Be Worn Outside Your Clothing and should hang down to your breastbone. Use adjustable lanyard. You should wear your pendant transmitter whenever you are at home even in the shower or bath. Your pendant transmitter is waterproof. Auto fall pendant does not detect 100% of falls. If able, users should always push their button when they need help.

• Optional Wristband Does Not Have Fall detection Your pendant transmitter can also be used with an optional wristband. To make the pendant transmitter wristband smaller, slide the pendant transmitter towards the buckle. To make the wristband larger, slide the pendant transmitter away from the buckle.

False Alarms

Let us say you are cleaning your dishes and pressing against the counter edge not realizing that the pendant has activated. Again, Don’t be alarmed. When we respond simply say you’re OK,  and no further actions will be taken. In the event, you are not able to communicate with us we will call you via your telephone if you don’t answer we will take it as an emergency and contact your call list. Remember there are always friendly voices on the other end.

24-hour-Nurse-Call (Optional)

The patent-pending system offers two unique buttons. Pressing the Emergency Button connects a user to  24- hour Emergency Monitoring Center. For non-urgent medical needs pressing the Nurse, Triage button connects the user to our 24-hour Personal Nurse-Triage Call Center. (Nurse Call is Optional)

Maintaining Your System

Clean transmitter with a soft cloth or sponge. Moistened lightly with a mixture of water and mild detergent, and wipe it dry immediately. The use of abrasives of any kind is strictly forbidden. Also never use solvents such as kerosene, acetone or thinner.

What Happens When Your Battery Goes Low in your Pendant.

When a pendant transmitter’s battery is low, its red light on the console flashes rapidly several times per second and the red light on the console flashes continuously until the pendant’s battery is replaced. This will send a low-battery code to the monitoring center.

If able, users should always push their button if they need help.

Water Resistant.

Auto-fall-detection transmitters are water resistant to a depth of 30 feet. We will replace at no charge any personal transmitter which is damaged by water in normal use. Frequent testing is advised if the transmitters are used in environments which expose the unit to water. The transmitters are not designed for constant exposure to high temperatures, chemicals, strong detergents, cleaning agents, solvents, etc.

Auto Fall Detection Battery Life.

Transmitters are powered by long-life lithium batteries which are maintenance free and not intended to be replaced. The battery manufacturer specifies the batteries lose only approximately 1-2% of their capacity per year of shelf life and even after 4 years, should have 80% of their original capacity. In a typical application, the capacity of the battery allowed for 50,000 to 100,000 operating seconds. This long-term battery life saves many service calls and many times the cost of transmitters over the lifetime of the security system.  The battery status is transmitted as part of the key code each time the transmitter is activated. Those receivers with non-polled supervision will give a low-battery output if the transmitter battery is not within specifications.

These consoles are electronics and possibly they could fail. There may be a time for interruptions, and honestly, there is nothing anyone can do to have 100% fail safe with electronics. Please understand there is a variety of reasons that could affect the status of the consoles electronics. This is why we know how important it is for you to test your console at least once or twice a month to make sure everything is operating properly. We will do everything in our power to make sure you are safe and secure with our service.

If you have multiple phones throughout your home, we realize other phones in your home may not be hung up or turned off. To ensure your system works in the event of the prior happening, we suggest adding the RJ31X jack to your home. This jack is used for line seizure and reporting alarm codes to the monitoring center. This is good because the phone could be off the hook and how would we know? For more information speak to one of our representatives.

We recommends connection to an RJ31X telephone jack supplied by a local telephone company.  Failure to install an RJ31X telephone jack by Subscriber shall relieve us of any and all liabilities for any failure to communicate that may occur as a direct result of such failure. Service requires connection to a private telephone line.
